My carpal tunnel syndrome has been 95% relieved for at least 4 years because of treatment and instruction by Cindy Schneider. I had had physical therapy, but it didn’t help. Doctor’s told me that according to my neurological tests results, I needed carpal tunnel surgery. Since I’d heard that it doesn’t always work, I went to the chiropractor who referred me to Cindy. Cindy said that the origin of the carpal tunnel syndrome could be coming down the arms from the muscular area at the spinal base of my neck. She used deep tissue massage several times a month for several months. It was both painful and relieving. She taught me to notice the movements that tightened or loosened the muscles and pinched the nerves in that area. With that understanding I noticed that sleeping with my arm tucked under my head definitely tightened and pinched the area. I decided to go to sleep on my back with my spine quite aligned. If I do roll onto my side, I don’t put my arm up under my head. Now I don’t wake up with severe hand pain and tingling. I can type, write, hold a book, hold the steering wheel without having to keep stopping. What a relief!
What a relief!
